WHO WE ARE
THEMAN was founded by Jakarta-based DJ, music producer, and music program creator, Leno REI during a pandemic in 2021. He's been pushing the music in the Jakarta scene since his return from Seattle back in 2006, establishing music platforms (The Infamous Goodnws), and introducing new talents from all over the world to inspire our local talents to push their musical boundaries, and stamp their sound in/outside Jakarta.
Our goal is to create an environment where people around us start recognizing contemporary black music in any form. All content is selected by THEMAN music enthusiasts/professionals who are DJs, music producers, and artists who have years of experience in their field.

One of our mission directions is to help artists, producers, and DJ to develop their music, create a direction, and open an opportunity to express themselves freely without any restriction or follow any music trend. It takes dedication and perseverance to live yourself in music. That is why you are THE MAN. As T(H)EMAN, which means a friend in Indonesian, we will do anything in our power to support our music friends to reach their potential. That's what good friends do to friends.
